So i saw the band last night at Ska Is Dead in St. Pete. They played really well. They had alot of people singing along, and dancing, it was a great vibe. They also let some people come up on stage to play horns on "daniel larusso's gonna fight". one of which is a member of this community!!! Josh (grlsnevercame) played trumpet on the final Know How song of the evening and quite well might i add.

The Set(as far as i can remember and not in this order):
See Her Again
Big ups...
Why Wait
Say Hello

if you have something to add post it!!!

How Many Times you have seen The Know How (and who you saw them with): I saw them at Ska Ska Mania Fest Face The Third with the ASOB, Go Play In Traffic, and Long Shot Hero (can't remember the rest)...then I saw them at a skatepark in MI with IV4K, GPiT, The Sweet Kings, The Wolfy Lonesome Band, The Audio Bomb, and Class of 1984

Favorite show they were at: SSMFFTT was definitely awesome. It's hard to choose, and I've only gotten to see them twice! Ha.

Favorite Song(s): Daniel Larusso.....and See Her Again, haha.

Other Bands you like: Reel Big Fish, Go Play In Traffic, I Voted For Kodos, MSC, Five Iron Frenzy, Suburban Legends, and other misc./random bands.

I'm sitting in the front seat of the van typing this on Jeff's I-Book right now...we are doing a 8 hour overnight drive towards the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Resort in the heart of downtown Ottawa tonight. I know what your going to say..."i thought the Know How were going to sleep at random people's houses this tour?! What's the deal?" Our response: Look chief, we stayed with some really cool friends in Guelph and Toronto the last two nights...but everyone in the band is coming down with a flu.,.and we did not want them infecting our wonderful hosts with SARS and/or AIDS. So essentially, we are doing YOU a favor :) We also told the reservations clerk that we were in a band called All-American Rejects when we checked in and they hooked us up with a discount...so there's no turning back now! We played the Opera House in Toronto few nights back in front of 900 people....I guess I can safely say that the SKA IS DEAD tour is doing well so far....all the shows we've played have been amazing! Jeff got a tattoo in downtown Toronto of the Clash's London Calling album cover of the guy breaking the bass on stage. Finch was excited to see that there was a actually a street in Toronto called DeGrassi, named after his favorite Canadian TV teen drama DeGrassi High. Dave bought a Maple Leaf hockey jersey for no apparent reason at all...does anyone in the States remember something called the NHL?? Yah me either. Tonight's show in London, a kid was crowd surfing while we were playing and he cut his head open on the fire sprInkler that was jutting out of the ceiling and bled all over Finch when he was pushed on to the stage with us...yummy. I can't think of anything else to type right now...it is 6 in the morning and I am exhausted! Someone will write more tonight! Ciao! -Alex

How Many Times you have seen The Know How (and who you saw them with): 2, The Planet Smashers show, and some other show, but I fogot which one... I only saw part of the sdet and the rest of the night was a blur.

Favorite show they were at: The Planet Smashers show. I loved their set and thought their drummer was awsome (even though his floor tom was out of tune... the bottom head at least) and they had the kind of energy I really love from ska bands.. so it was just great and I have loved them ever since.

Favorite Song(s): I dont know the names of them... my friend put it on my computer and I just listen to iTuens on random, Ill get on knowing the names of songs.

Other Bands you like: Streetlight Manifesto, Planet Smashers, Rx Bandits, Catch 22, VGS, Propagandhi, Bad Religion, Pennywise, Four More Years (may they rest in peace), Blow You The Fuck Up (ex members of Four More Years and me), Botch, Weakerthans, Piebald, Ted Leo and the pharmacists, Ampere.... theres alot more.. but thats the top of the bands that come to mind.....

ALSO: If you know a ska band who needs a drummer, or people who play ska who arent in a band and arent a drummer put them in touch with me... Ive been trying to play in a ska band since I started drumming, but all Im in now are a hardcore band, a mid 90s punk band (called shitler youth) and I play with Carson Cox (ex singer of Four More Years) solo thing... really me and him are in all the bands, and we have more that arent formed.. but still.... Matt needs Ska... Matt wants SKA!!!! only thing is Im inbetween kits right now because the one Ive been using was borrowed, and right now Im waiting on a kit Im having custom built by SJC (same guys who made the Streetlight Manifesto drummers kit).. so.. let me know.

The Know How will be going on a journey with the Ska Is Dead 3 tour pretty soon. this will be an awesome way for TKH to get there name out by playing with such acts as Mustard Plug, The Toasters, Westbound Train and many more. For those of you unfamiliar with "SID" it is a national tour, and is expected to sell out most of the dates this year!!! GO THE KNOW HOW!
i saw the know how at the Orpheum in Ybor City on Friday too! they rocked out as normal. they played some pretty sweet songs as well, like "Chemistry", "Big Ups..." and other songs i'd never heard live before. It was also their drummers last show :-(. He has been with TKH since the very beggining. they are currentley looking for a new drummer, so if you know any drummers, encourage them to make their way to gainseville to try out.
also, please tell your friends about this community, we need to get more member to get this off the ground. and for all of you who havent, please fill out the servey in the user info.
